Junior PHP Developer

We’re looking for a Junior PHP Developer to join our Application engineering team and help build robust backend services and web applications. In this role, you’ll focus primarily on PHP and Laravel development, creating clean backend features and REST APIs that power our digital ecosystem. Because our full technical stack spans Go, .NET, React, mobile apps, and modern DevOps, you’ll have a unique opportunity to learn modern software architectures and expand your skill set far beyond standard PHP. What You’ll Do Develop new backend features and maintain existing APIs and web services using PHP and LaravelWrite clean, readable, and maintainable code adhering to software engineering best practicesCollaborate closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional team members to design and ship reliable solutionsParticipate in code review processes, learn from senior peers, and contribute to continuous development improvements What We Expect Basic or hands-on experience with PHP and a modern framework (Laravel strongly preferred)Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and relational database fundamentals (MySQL / PostgreSQL)Basic understanding of REST API architecture and Git version control workflowsStrong desire to learn, autonomy in problem-solving, and a proactive, hands-on attitudeExcellent team player mentality—someone who isn't afraid to ask questions and propose improvementsProfessional working proficiency in English (both written and spoken) NICE TO HAVE Experience with or interest in other backend technologies (Go, .NET)Basic familiarity with frontend web technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS)Understanding of Docker containerization and CI/CD conceptsPrevious personal, student, or open-source project contributions WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE Our office is a drone testing playground, and every day starts with an idea no one has tried before.
