Your Profile & DNA:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Build Engineer to join one of our greenhouse engineering teams as a Build Specialist.
You will work in a team of 6–8 highly skilled engineers, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software build solutions aligned with technical requirements and the project roadmap.
You will take ownership of technical work packages, ensuring effective planning, execution, quality, and continuous improvement of build processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Bazel-based build systems.Optimize build performance using remote build execution (RBE), caching, hermetic builds, and toolchains.Develop automation tools and scripts using Go and Python.Manage automated software integration, testing, and release processes.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions.Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with project requirements and roadmaps.
Qualification & Experience
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.8+ years of experience in software development and build management.Mandatory hands-on experience with Bazel development.Strong knowledge of Bazel rules, macros, platforms, toolchains, RBE, caching, and hermetic builds.Hands-on experience with Go and Python.Knowledge of modern software development practices, including TDD and BDD.Experience with Git, GitHub, and source control management systems.Experience with automated integration and release processes.Nice to Have
C/C++ and Rust development experience.Knowledge of algorithms and compiler concepts.Experience with Nix package management.Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloud technologies.
