Our team designs and builds the agentic SOC (Security Operations Center) which places us on the cutting edge of AI-driven security solutions. You’ll collaborate with dedicated AI research engineers, product marketing, solutions architects, and cross-functional partners, all in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and supportive environment. You’ll help shape the most transformative area of Cisco’s flagship security operations platform, making a visible impact in an industry-defining team. Your Impact Drive the product strategy and execution for our agentic SOC within the flagship security operations platform. Partner closely with engineering and customers to identify critical security operations challenges and translate them into actionable product requirements. Prototype and validate solutions, ensuring hands-on familiarity with the product and delivering demonstrable results. Collaborate with cross-functional GTM teams to launch new capabilities and ensure successful rollout to customers. Lead analyst briefings for Agentic SOC capabilities with leading market research analysts Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Cybersecurity with 12 years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8 years of experience; or PhD with 5 years of experienceExperience with Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, threat intelligence, and incident response processesExperience with AI, machine learning, or large language models, including personal or professional projects Preferred Qualifications Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executive leadership, customers, and engineering teamsAbility to balance long-term strategic vision with tactical execution in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environmentStrong sense of ownership and accountability, consistently driving initiatives from conception to successful outcomeDemonstrated curiosity and active listening skills, especially in customer and engineering engagements Why Cisco? For Quota-based Incentive Pay, Cisco Typically Pays As Follows .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; andOnce performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area $194,600.00 - $328,600.00 Non-Metro New York State & Washington State $179,000.00 - $294,000.00 For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
