Data Engineer – Long-Term Contract
Location: Germany – Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Munich, Hamburg or Stuttgart
Working Pattern: Primarily client-site based, approximately 4 days per week as required
Contract Type: Long-term contract, duration to be determined
Language: Fluent German – mandatory requirement (B2/C1/C2/Native)

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer (m/f/d) to join a high-performing Data and Technology team.
In this role, you will work on complex data projects and support large-scale data initiatives and digital transformation projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, Databricks, Snowflake and SQL, along with proven experience building and developing scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing workflowsUse Python for data processing, automation and data engineering solutionsBuild and optimize data pipelines using DatabricksWork with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouseDevelop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and analysisPerform data transformations, data integration and data quality checksCollaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Analysts and Business StakeholdersTroubleshoot issues and optimize the performance of data pipelines and workflowsContribute to the development of robust and scalable data platforms
Requirements
For this position, hands-on professional experience in all four of the following areas is required:
