From portal axles and drivetrain upgrades to complete vehicle engineering solutions, we're known for solving complex automotive challenges. About the role Working within the Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing and validation of new products and vehicle systems across a wide range of projects including portal axle systems, engine, drivetrain and transmission products, secondary stage manufacturing (SSM) vehicle modifications, vehicle electrical and control systems, and custom engineering projects. You will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept development and engineering analysis through to prototype manufacture, testing and production release. Key responsibilities Design and develop mechanical, electrical and electromechanical systems for automotive applicationsProduce 3D CAD models, drawings and manufacturing documentation using SolidWorksDevelop prototypes and work with sales and workshop staff to bring concepts to lifeConduct bench, workshop and vehicle-based testing activitiesAnalyse test results and implement design improvementsAssist with vehicle integration activities including drivetrain, suspension, electrical and control system installationSupport product validation, compliance and certification activitiesDevelop engineering calculations, FEA analysis and technical reports where requiredLiaise with suppliers, manufacturers and technical partnersParticipate in design reviews, ECNs, and revision updates.
