The Advocate Group is partnering exclusively with Monster Energy to find a Full Stack Engineer with a strong back-end focus to join their in-house technology team. Monster is investing seriously in its digital platforms, and this role sits at the heart of that. You’ll build across the stack, but your real strength will be in the back end, working in .NET to design the services, APIs and data layers that the business runs on. This is visible, high-impact work for a global brand, not background maintenance. What you’ll be doing: Designing, building and shipping robust back-end services and APIs in .NET, with front end work where the feature needs itOwning the logic, integrations and data that sit behind Monster’s internal platforms and toolsWorking directly with Product, Project Management and non-technical stakeholders to turn business needs into technical solutionsOperating within an Agile framework: sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retros, the lotWriting clean, well-tested, maintainable code and reviewing others’ work to keep standards highHelping shape architecture and technical decisions as the platform scalesImproving performance, reliability and technical debt as you go, rather than leaving it for someone else What we’re looking for: Proven full stack development experience, with your strongest skills in the back endStrong commercial experience with .NET (C#), building APIs and working with relational databasesComfortable picking up front end work when needed to deliver a feature end to endA strong communicator who can talk to stakeholders as easily as to other engineersAgile in how you work: comfortable with ambiguity, changing requirements and fast iterationA collaborative approach, working closely with Product, Project Managers and fellow developersSolid grasp of modern engineering practices, including version control, testing and code review Monster moves fast and wants engineers who do the same.
