Meta is seeking a Software Engineer to build and scale product experiences used by billions of people across Meta's family of apps and platforms.
In this role, you will own the design and delivery of complex product features end-to-end, partnering closely with product management, design, data science, and infrastructure teams to ship high-quality, reliable software.
You will bring both technical depth and product thinking to your work, driving engineering decisions that directly improve user outcomes and advance the team's roadmap.
Software Engineer, Product Responsibilities:
Build product-grade applications and games that go beyond a core experience to a high-quality barProduce high-fidelity, responsive and fluid experiences across devicesBuild software that adapts to resource constraints at runtime, including GPU, CPU, memory, I/O, networking, and thermalIntegrate with the operating system and the system services applications rely on, including connectivity, notifications, and securityBuild features, applications, services, systems, and games that improve model capabilities and generate high-value training dataWork across teams, driving projects and initiatives that improve the quality and value of our evaluation and training dataEstablish yourself as the owner of a particular area, or system with an expert end-to-end understanding
Minimum Qualifications:
Deep experience in optimizing applications where optimization to the system or hardware is essential, such as applications that are time-sensitive, show real-time data, or have a render loopExperience with popular mobile and graphics performance tracing and profiling tools, including RenderDoc and PerfettoRelevant experience in building and shipping games, applications, or interactive experiences to productionExperience with performance optimization and working within resource constraints such as CPU/GPU, memory, thermal, and networkingExperience integrating applications with platforms or operating system servicesProgramming experience in a relevant programming language, such as C++, C#, Python, or shadersExperience as an owner of a particular component, feature, or systemBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experienceDemonstrated an interest in AI models and their applications to software development
