Nebius is seeking a talented Legal Counsel APJ to join our dynamic legal team.
In this role, you will support Nebius’ expanding operations across APJ.
You will work closely with our procurement and infrastructure teams to enable strategic sourcing initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies in the APJ region
Your responsibilities will include:
Advise on and negotiate procurement contracts, including data center acquisition or development, co-location and lease agreements, and related services in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.
Support the acquisition of permits and licenses required for infrastructure projects.
Draft, review, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements globally.
Coordinate and manage external counsel to ensure cost-effective, high-quality legal support.
Monitor regulatory developments affecting Nebius’ infrastructure and procurement activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes and risk management.
We expect you to have:
Master’s degree from a reputable university.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department in the APJ region, with a focus on procurement, real estate, or energy/infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of commercial law.
Able to work under short deadlines.
Excellent communication and contract negotiation skills in English.
Proactive, pragmatic, and business-oriented approach with the ability to work independently.
