Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field3+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on development with Java and the Spring FrameworkExperience with Spring Boot, RESTful web services, and enterprise application developmentUnderstanding of object-oriented programming, application debugging, and common software design principlesWorking knowledge of SQL and relational databasesExperience with automated testing, Git, Bamboo, and CI/CD practicesFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD conceptsAbility to complete assigned tasks, seek guidance when needed, and work collaboratively within a teamExposure to PCF or another cloud application platformFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ preferred
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain application features using Java, Spring, and Spring BootBuild and enhance REST APIs and integrate with existing servicesTranslate business and technical requirements into maintainable solutions with guidance from senior developers and technical leadsWrite automated unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot application issuesInvestigate defects, diagnose application issues, and implement fixesCreate technical documentation, design diagrams, and API specificationsCollaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and development partners to clarify requirements and deliver quality softwareParticipate in Agile ceremonies and communicate progress, dependencies, and blockersSupport deployments and production troubleshooting with guidance from the teamLearn and apply team standards for secure coding, testing, and maintainable software development
