Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour Clerk Grade 7/8 – Salary starting from $ 116,981.00 to $129,492.00 + super and leave loading

About The Role
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is looking for a Developer to join their Financial Control & Analysis team.
As a Developer, you will assist in the maintenance and ongoing development of MyOutcomes, the Department’s financial and human resources reporting tool built on the Calumo platform.
You will have strong Excel skills and write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using languages such asMDX, SQL, Javascript and HTML, along with relevant frameworks.
Your role will involve developing new Calumo reports within MyOutcomes using Excel and MDX, implementing new features like custom filters and charts internal customer support around existing and new reports, and troubleshooting bugs that arise during testing and implementation.
You will participate in weekly development and support meetings, code reviews, and project discussions to ensure your work aligns with team goals and MyOutcomes’ coding standards.
You’ll also work closely with managers and fellow developers to resolve integration issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
About You
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, effective teamwork, and a commitment to producing high-quality, reliable and well-documented code.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Excel, MDX, SQL, HTML and JavaScript relevant frameworks.
You will need to be able to collaborate effectively in a team, participate in code reviews, and communicate technical details clearly to various parts of the business.
A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to stay updated on new technologies are also key for success in this role.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (essential)
