About The Role We are seeking a talented Frontend Systems Engineer to join our core team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the architecture that powers our dynamic, generative user interface. You will develop the systems behind the UI, including component structure, data flow, and the generative UI engine that adapts and extends based on user actions and agent outputs. Your work will directly influence how users experience AI interactions, making the interface more intuitive, responsive, and customizable. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex problems such as creating an extensible runtime environment where users, agents, and plugins can add new functionalities seamlessly, all while maintaining performance and stability on standard hardware. You will be instrumental in designing a scalable, flexible architecture that supports future growth and feature expansion. Your contributions will help shape the core of a product that aims to redefine AI accessibility and usability in enterprise environments. Qualifications Deep understanding of frontend fundamentals, including rendering models, debugging techniques, and state management principles.Proven experience in building scalable frontend architectures from scratch.Strong knowledge of performance optimization, profiling, and debugging applications for low-spec hardware.Experience with building dynamic, runtime UI engines that adapt based on real-time data.Familiarity with integrating OAuth flows, credential management, and connection stability features.Ability to think in abstractions, designing interfaces that can withstand significant underlying changes.Experience working on cross-platform desktop applications, especially on macOS and Windows, is a plus.Contributions to open-source projects related to agent harnessing or AI tooling are advantageous. Responsibilities Design and implement the core frontend architecture, including component structure and data flow mechanisms.Develop the generative UI engine that renders dynamic surfaces, panels, and layouts based on agent output and user interactions.Implement and optimize the chat experience, including streaming, multi-turn conversations, and real-time feedback.Ensure high performance and responsiveness on standard hardware configurations, continuously profiling and fixing bottlenecks.Build integration layers such as OAuth authentication, credential management, and connection status monitoring.Create abstractions and scalable systems that support product evolution and future feature additions.Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into robust frontend solutions.
