Integration and API Developer

The Role We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Integration Developer to facilitate the design, build, and support of integrations across a complex and evolving digital ecosystem. This position embed integration standards, and best practices across a multi-squad environment, helping shape how integration is delivered across the organisation. You will contribute to the end-to-end delivery of integration solutions - from requirements analysis and design through to implementation and ongoing optimisation. You will also play a key role in improving integration frameworks, governance, and best practices across the organisation. Responsibilities: Assess legacy and modern systems to define and deliver a future-proof integration strategyDesign, build, and maintain APIs and system integrations across cloud and on-premise environmentsEstablish and embed integration standards, patterns, tooling, and governance across the organisationWork across multiple delivery squads to ensure consistent integration practicesAct as a hands-on technical lead, contributing directly to development and solution deliveryDefine and promote best practices for API-led and event-driven architecturesProvide technical leadership, including guidance, design input, and constructive challenge to engineering decisionsCollaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful deliveryRequirements 8+ years' experience in integration / full-stack developmentStrong .NET experience (C#, .NET Core 6+ and .NET Framework)Understanding of Microsoft Azure DevOpsProven experience building APIs and integrating enterprise systemsStrong SQL Server / T-SQL and backend data experienceExperience working in complex legacy or brownfield environmentsExperience with messaging and event-driven systems (e.g. Azure Service Bus)Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skillsDesirable Exposure to web and application developmentExperience integrating with Salesforce APIs and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & OperationsExperience with React.js or Next.jsApply Today Learn more about our Brisbane recruitment services: https://www.roberthalf.com.au/brisbane By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
