Department: Research & Development Location: EMEA-Armenia-Yerevan Description About this opportunity We are looking for a Senior MLOps / Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Data & Algorithm Infrastructure team. This role focuses on building and operating the data , cloud infrastructure and frameworks that enable ML, AI, and algorithm teams to work efficiently and reliably. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable, production-grade data and compute platforms that support model training, algorithm development, experimentation, and deployment for next-generation iTero scanners. Your responsibilities as a Senior MLOps / Data Infrastructure Engineer Design, build, and operate data and MLOps infrastructure that supports algorithm and ML teams.Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for large clinical datasets (images, 3D, multi-modal).Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS for data processing, model training and algorithm development workloads.Enable reproducible, automated workflows for data preparation, training execution, and artifact management.Apply DevOps best practices: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, logging, and reliability engineering.Partner closely with Algorithm and ML teams to understand infrastructure needs and remove operational bottlenecks.Optimize systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.Take ownership of code quality, system robustness, and long-term maintainability. What We’re Looking For BSc or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or MLOps infrastructure roles.Strong experience working with large-scale datasets, including images, 3D, or other high-volume data.Proven AWS cloud experience in production environments.Strong Python background for data pipelines, automation, and infrastructure tooling.Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture, and operational excellence.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Fluent English (spoken and written). Nice to Have Experience designing data platforms or ML infrastructure used by multiple teams.Hands-on experience with tools such as Spark, Airflow, AWS Batch, Lambda, Fargate, Sagemaker, MLFlow or similar.Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).Industrial experience with image or 3D data pipelines.Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments (e.g., healthcare).
