About The Role As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you'll own a product area end to end, from design through the results after launch. You'll be matched to one of four teams during the interview process, based on business needs and your background: Agents – AI assistants and in-app guidance that help people finish tasks inside the software they use, including a new desktop AI work hubDocs – Our core product for automated document generation and viewing, relied on by millions of usersGrowth – Signup, onboarding, checkout, billing, seats and SSO, helping people find Scribe, see its value fast, and grow their planOptimize – The AI-driven intelligence layer that helps enterprises understand, measure and improve how work gets done, turning raw activity into workflow data leaders can trustEnterprise Scale – Admin controls, permissions, security and compliance, and the platform performance that let Scribe's largest customers roll it out across thousands of employees. What You’ll Do Own projects from design to launch, on established products and new onesWork with PMs, designers and other engineers to decide what to build and howContribute to technical discussions, balancing short-term delivery with long-term architectureUphold strong engineering practices: code review, test coverage and observability.Ship features end to end, from database and API to UIBuild backend services across Python and Go, and the frontend that uses them What We’re Looking For 5+ years building production software at scaleProduct-minded. You care about the user problem as much as the codeComfortable with unclear problems and fast changeStrong Python experience, or deep experience in another backend language and willingness to work across Python and GoStrong JavaScript experience with a modern frontend frameworkNice to have: Django experience, AI/LLM product experience, startup experience.
