Responsibilities
Provide design of technical solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, reliable, and built on nonproprietary, open-standard codeCreate and maintain a Detailed Software Development Modernization Plan (SDMP) that outlines branching strategy, code review processes, and CI/CD integrationWrite, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and secure source code in the government-owned GIT-based repository and shall actively participate in mandatory peer code reviewsEnsure all developed code passes all automated quality and security scans (e.g., SAST), with all new Blocker, Critical, or High findings remediated prior to task completionResponsible for identifying, reporting, analyzing, and executing the remediation of technical debt as prioritized and assigned by the governmentResearch, prototype with, and mentor team members in the use of emergent technologies, including but not limited to AI/ML, low-code/no-code platforms, automation, and AI-assisted coding tools
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldExperience with Angular and Spring BootTesting with Jest and JUnitGreat communication and organizational skillsFive (5) years of prior experience in a similar roleDoD 8570 Level II/III certificationActive Security Clearance Required
