About The Role Are you a seasoned full-stack, AI-native senior software engineer with expertise in WordPress, PHP, and React.js? Do you aspire to be part of a fast-growing, pre-seed funded startup rather than a traditional services company? If you are someone who understands what constitutes high-quality code and architecture, and can leverage paid AI tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor to maximize productivity, then this opportunity is tailored for you. You will be working on a robust, enterprise-grade SaaS product built on WordPress with a modern architecture (Bedrock WP), handling millions of messages and requests each month. Your role will involve developing new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and contributing to the overall growth of our innovative platform. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.Proficiency in PHP, WordPress development, and WooCommerce.Strong frontend skills including HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, and React.js.Deep understanding of WordPress core, REST API, Bedrock, Composer, WP CLI, and best practices.Experience in building custom APIs and integrating third-party APIs.Familiarity with AI tools and platforms to enhance coding efficiency and quality.Proficient with development tools such as Git, Postman, and other debugging tools.Ability to work independently, produce bug-free code on the first attempt, and collaborate effectively within a team.Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for quality and detail.Adaptive learner with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and frameworks. Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance custom features for our SaaS product utilizing WordPress, PHP, React.js, and other modern technologies.Implement and maintain a scalable, enterprise-grade architecture using Bedrock WP and related tools.Create and optimize native third-party integrations and custom REST APIs to ensure seamless connectivity with external systems.Utilize AI-powered tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor to accelerate development cycles, improve code quality, and streamline workflows.Collaborate closely with the development team to plan, develop, and deploy new features, as well as troubleshoot and resolve bugs.Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and technical documentation to uphold code standards and best practices.Stay updated with the latest trends in web development, AI, and SaaS product management to continuously improve our platform.Engage in testing and quality assurance to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performance software.
