Senior .NET Backend Developer

Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer / Senior Back-End Developer with 5+ years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. The candidate must be strong in .NET technologies, SQL Server, and backend architecture. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET (C#) and modern architectural principles. • Design and implement clean, scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architectures. • Work extensively with SQL Server to design database schemas, write efficient stored procedures, and optimize complex queries. • Collaborate closely with front-end, mobile, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high- quality, integrated solutions. • Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices. • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications, ensuring system reliability and performance. • Integrate third-party APIs, internal services, and external systems as needed. • Participate in code reviews, contribute to development standards, and support continuous improvement efforts. • Assist in performance tuning, scalability enhancements, and security-hardening initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong proficiency in .NET Framework / .NET Core MVC using C#. • Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures. • Solid understanding of SQL Server, including database design, performance optimization, and stored procedure development. • Hands-on experience with Entity Framework / EF Core. • Strong knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices. • Experience with Git and modern version control workflows. • Familiarity with asynchronous programming, LINQ, caching mechanisms, and API performance optimization (preferred). Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Preferred • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. • Certifications in .NET, Microsoft Azure, or software architecture (added advantage).
