Description
We are hiring a .NET Backend Engineer as part of our Business Applications team to build the API engine behind one enterprise mobile app that will serve every company in the group, starting with real estate.
What You'll Do:
Core API & Server-Driven UI
· Build and maintain ASP.NET Core Web APIs using the Backend-for-Frontend pattern
· Serve dynamic JSON layout and workflow schemas that tailor React Native screens to each group company and user role, without app store releases
· Version APIs and UI schemas so older app versions keep working after backend changes
Integrations & Features
· Integrate with Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM), Oracle NetSuite (ERP), and our HRMS
· Stream application telemetry and business metrics into Microsoft Fabric for Power BI reporting
· Deliver transactional push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging
· Handle secure mobile file uploads to AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage using SAS or pre-signed URLs
Security & Identity
· Implement authentication with Microsoft Entra ID (M365 SSO) for employees and OAuth2 social login for external users, using short-lived JWTs, refresh token rotation, and role-based access control
· Secure APIs against the OWASP API Security Top 10 with rate limiting, CORS policies, and input validation
· Store all secrets in Azure Key Vault and keep dependencies patched with GitHub Dependabot
· Maintain audit logs, change management records, and data handling controls that support internal and external compliance audits
Quality & Delivery
· Ship through GitHub pull requests, code reviews, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to Azure App Services
· Write automated contract and snapshot tests with xUnit, Verify, and WebApplicationFactory, mocking third-party APIs with WireMock.Net
· Monitor performance and manage feature flags with OpenTelemetry, Serilog, Azure Application
Insights, and PostHog
What You'll Bring:
· 5+ years of experience publishing and maintaining production backend APIs consumed by live mobile applications
· Strong working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core Web API (.NET 10), and RESTful API design
· Familiarity with Server-Driven UI or dynamic JSON metadata schemas
· Experience designing data models and working with Azure SQL through EF Core
· Practical experience with automated testing and CI/CD deployments to Azure or AWS
· Working knowledge of API security and OAuth2/JWT authentication
Bonus Points: Arabic language fluency.
Knowledge of Azure AI Document Intelligence, Amazon Rekognition, Azure API Management, or Cloudflare WAF.
