About the Role AVB is seeking a Python/JavaScript Full Stack Developer to support evolving client technology needs and contribute to scalable full-stack solutions. This is a hands-on development role working with JavaScript on the front end, Python on the backend, and PostgreSQL databases. You will work with U.S. and offshore developers to enhance an existing open-source product, collaborate with Product Owners and QA engineers to clarify requirements, and participate in code reviews. The role is suited to someone with strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills who can work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed development team. Key Responsibilities •Work with U.S. and offshore developers to add enhancements to an existing open-source product. •Develop front-end functionality using JavaScript. •Develop backend functionality using Python. •Work with PostgreSQL databases and SQL. •Collaborate with Product Owners and QA engineers to solidify requirements before development begins. •Participate in code reviews and review other developers’ code. •Troubleshoot technical issues and apply critical-thinking skills to solve problems. •Contribute to scalable web application development and optimized web server configurations. •Work independently while collaborating with an offshore development team. Required Qualifications •2 years of experience working with Python and JavaScript. •Strong JavaScript, Python, HTML, and CSS skills. •Comfortable working with SQL. •Knowledge of optimized web server configurations. •Experience scaling web applications. •Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills. •Strong communication skills and willingness to learn. •Ability to work independently and effectively with an offshore team.
