Linux Systems Engineer Sydney | Hybrid Are you a Linux Systems Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, automating processes and keeping critical infrastructure running smoothly? We’re looking for a Linux specialist to support and enhance enterprise systems in a hybrid role based in Sydney. The role Manage, maintain and optimise Linux servers across production and non-production environments.Troubleshoot issues across operating systems, networking, storage and application infrastructure.Deliver patching, upgrades, security hardening and system monitoring.Automate routine tasks using Ansible and Bash or Python.Support incident resolution, root cause analysis and ongoing improvements to system reliability.Work closely with infrastructure, security and application teams.Maintain clear technical documentation and operational procedures. What you’ll bring Strong experience administering enterprise Linux environments, ideally RHEL, Ubuntu or similar distributions.Confident troubleshooting skills across Linux, networking and storage.Experience with scripting and configuration management tools such as Ansible.An understanding of system security, performance tuning, backup and recovery.Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
