Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Business Architect to join a major business transformation program within a complex international environment.
This role will be instrumental in shaping and evolving business architecture capabilities, ensuring strong alignment between business strategy, operating models, processes, capabilities, and technology landscapes.
As a key link between business and technology stakeholders, you will help translate strategic objectives into actionable business capabilities, transformation roadmaps, and architectural frameworks that support long-term organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Define, maintain, and evolve business capability models across multiple business domains.Establish governance standards for capability management, including taxonomy, hierarchy structures, naming conventions, and model consistency.Analyze business needs and translate them into capabilities, target operating models, and transformation initiatives.Develop and manage capability hierarchies and relationships across different levels of the organization.Conduct capability assessments, gap analyses, dependency mapping, overlap identification, and impact evaluations to support strategic decision-making.Ensure alignment between business, enterprise, and technology strategies through effective capability management practices.Map business capabilities to processes, applications, value streams, organizational structures, and operating models.Support the harmonization and evolution of business capability frameworks across the organization.Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment between business priorities and technology roadmaps.Contribute to the design and evolution of business architecture methodologies, operating models, and governance frameworks.Support business process architecture initiatives and maintain consistency across capability, process, and operating model views.Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to build consensus and drive alignment.Produce and maintain architecture artefacts, models, and documentation using industry-standard tools, primarily LeanIX.Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on business architecture and transformation topics.
