Metricool helps professionals and businesses around the world save time and get better results on social media.Your mission will be to bring Metricool closer to social media managers, agencies and businesses in German- and French-speaking markets.
You will join our Social Media team, which sets the global content plan, and help make it work in German and French: adapting our content so it truly connects with local audiences, creating and recording your own pieces, and taking care of our community every day.In this position, you will be able to have a wonderful contribution and impact in different areas:As a Content Creator & Social Media Manager,Community management: Be the daily voice of Metricool in German and French on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube: reply to comments and messages, moderate conversations, and flag product questions and feedback to the right teams.Content localization: Adapt our English and Spanish posts into German and French and schedule them in Metricool, localizing hooks, examples, references and CTAs so they feel native instead of translated word by word.Editorial calendar: Keep the German and French editorial calendars up to date, aligned with the Social Media Team Leader and the global content plan.On-camera content: Record videos in German (and in French, if your level allows it): short videos for social every week and long-form videos for YouTube every month.
You will adapt the scripts and review the edits for language accuracy.Market insights: Spot local trends, formats and competitors in DACH and French-speaking markets and bring fresh ideas to the social plan.Growth support: Support the Growth team’s German influencer campaigns and Ads with content and language review.As a Team Member,Work closely with the Social Media, YouTube and Growth teams and our video editor to make sure every German and French piece is aligned with Metricool’s goals.Become the go-to reference for the DACH market inside the Content and Growth teams.Share ideas, learnings and best practices in team brainstorming sessions.Long story short: How will your first days in Metricool look like?First month: You will get to know our product, our brand voice, our tools and the team.
You will start taking over German and French community management, as well as the adaptation and scheduling of posts.First quarter: You will own the German and French calendars end to end, with your weekly and monthly German videos up and running.
You will start bringing your own local ideas to the social plan.To the moon: Our German channels will work as a truly localized channel, not a translation, and you will be the DACH reference for the Content and Growth teams.Job requirementsYou’ll be successful on your mission if you have:Based in Spain.Experience: At least 2 years of experience in content creation or social media management.Experience in community management, or a clear interest in it.Experience creating B2B or SaaS content for the German market is highly valued.Education: Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or a related field is a plus.Languages:Native German, with excellent writing skills.Advanced English (C1), our team’s working language.French is a strong plus: a native or high C1 level would allow you to record in French too, while a B2–C1 level is enough for community management and post adaptation.Hard skills:Strong copywriting in German for social media: hooks, captions, CTAs and comment replies, with the ability to adapt to an established brand voice.Natural on-camera presence in German.
Experience recording for social media or YouTube is a plus.Good knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube and their formats and trends.A portfolio of posts, content examples or social accounts you have managed is a nice to have.Soft skills:Proactivity and initiative: you don’t wait to be told what to do and you bring your own ideas.Autonomy and sound judgment, as you will be working in languages that nobody else on the team speaks.Organization and time management to handle two languages across three networks.Cultural sensitivity to adapt tone, references and messages to each market.Collaborative attitude to work remotely in an international team.Why will you fall in love with Metricool?Remote Work Environment: Team members have the flexibility to work from any location of their choice in Spain.
