Java Backend Microservices Engineer Location: Manchester, UK Work Model: Hybrid – Mandatory 2 days per week onsite Experience: 8–12 Years Domain: Banking Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Microservices Engineer to work on a critical project for one of our leading clients in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building and managing modern, scalable technology applications. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.Design and develop scalable microservices-based applications.Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code.Work closely with technical teams, architects, and stakeholders to deliver project requirements.Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and application improvements.Work with containerized and cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes.Ensure applications meet performance, security, reliability, and scalability standards.
