Areti Group is partnering with a high-growth, Series B funded Tech for Good SaaS business entering a major new phase of scale. They've secured significant investment. They're investing heavily in Engineering. They're modernising a major technology platform. And now they're taking their products into the US market. 🇺🇸 We're looking for x2 Senior API Developers to join them for the journey. This isn't about maintaining a finished platform. You'll be joining while the next generation of it is being built. 🚀 🌳 The Opportunity This is a brilliant opportunity for engineers who want to be somewhere they can actually influence the technology. You'll work on the APIs and backend services at the heart of a rapidly scaling SaaS platform while contributing to a significant engineering transformation. A major modernisation programme is underway, moving functionality from a legacy PHP / Symfony environment towards a modern Go / Golang architecture. You'll be right in the middle of it. Building new services. Modernising existing systems. Solving scalability challenges. Improving reliability. Influencing technical decisions. And helping build a platform capable of supporting international growth. With the company now expanding into the US, this is a chance to solve genuinely interesting engineering problems at an important point in the company's journey. 💻 What You'll Be Working With 🔥 Go / Golang 🔥 REST APIs / API Development 🔥 AWS 🔥 Docker & Kubernetes 🔥 PHP / Symfony 🔥 SQL 🔥 CI/CD 🔥 Git / Linux 🔥 Automated & Unit Testing 🔥 Vue.js / React exposure 🔥 AI-assisted development You don't need every technology on that list. What matters is that you're a strong software engineer who understands scalable backend systems, writes quality code and enjoys solving difficult technical problems. 🌳 What You'll Be Doing 🌳 Designing and building high-quality APIs and backend services 🌳 Developing modern services using Go / Golang 🌳 Helping transition legacy functionality from PHP / Symfony into Go 🌳 Building technology capable of supporting rapid growth and international expansion 🌳 Working with modern AWS cloud infrastructure 🌳 Working across Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD 🌳 Using logs, metrics and monitoring to continuously improve production systems 🌳 Building clean, maintainable and well-tested software 🌳 Solving performance, scalability and reliability challenges 🌳 Contributing to architecture and technical direction 🌳 Reviewing code and sharing knowledge with other engineers 🌳 Improving engineering practices and developer experience 🌳 Using modern AI development tools to improve the way software is built 🌳 Who Are We Looking For? You want more than another ticket factory. You want to understand the problem. Challenge the approach. Influence the solution. And build something you're genuinely proud of. 🚀 Why Join Now? Timing. You'll be joining a Series B funded SaaS company at a genuine inflection point. The business is simultaneously: 🌳 Scaling its Engineering organisation 🌳 Investing heavily in Product & Technology 🌳 Modernising its core platform 🌳 Moving towards a modern Go architecture 🌳 Scaling its cloud infrastructure 🌳 Growing rapidly 🌳 Expanding into the US 🇺🇸 That's what makes this opportunity different. The company is established enough to have scale, customers and serious investment behind it — but early enough in its next chapter for engineers joining now to have genuine influence. You're not arriving once the transformation is finished. You're joining to help build it. 🌎 UK Scale-Up → Global SaaS Business International expansion is already underway. As the product moves into the US market, Engineering will play a huge part in making sure the platform can support the next level of scale. That means bigger technical challenges. More investment. More engineering. More opportunity. If you want to join a company before the next major stage of its growth rather than after it, this is the time. 🏡 And Yes... It's Genuinely Remote Fully remote means fully remote. There are offices in Bristol, London and on the South Coast, but you won't be expected to commute into one every week. Instead, the team gets together once per month for collaboration, planning and some actual face-to-face time. ✈️ All required travel for the monthly meetup is fully expensed. So you get: The flexibility of remote working + the connection of seeing your team once a month. 💰 The Package 💰 Up to £70,000 🏡 Fully Remote ✈️ Only 1 meetup day per month – fully expensed 🏖 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays 🎂 Your Birthday Off 📈 Additional annual leave linked to service 🏥 Private Medical Insurance 🧠 Health & Wellbeing Support 👨 👩 👧 Enhanced Family Benefits 🛡 Group Life Assurance 💷 Pension Contribution 📚 Career Development & Regular Reviews 🎉 Company Events & Socials 🌱 Interested?
