Senior Backend Developer, C#/.NET

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Yerevan, Armenia for a Senior Backend Developer (C# .NET). The Senior Backend Developer will design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and the .NET ecosystem, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, integrating with internal and third-party systems, and optimizing database interactions. The role involves reviewing code, mentoring developers, participating in architecture discussions, and improving development practices and tooling. The Senior Backend Developer will also troubleshoot production issues, contribute to automation and CI/CD pipelines, and support the continuous enhancement of logistics and transportation platforms. Requirements 5+ years of experience in backend development with C# .NETStrong expertise in MS SQL and ADO.NetSolid understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, DDD, and TDDExperience designing and implementing REST APIsHands-on experience developing and supporting applications built on microservice architectureKnowledge of Git and proficiency with code versioning toolsHands-on experience using AI-powered development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate software development, code review, debugging, testing, and documentationProven ability to effectively leverage AI for coding while validating, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality, secure, and production-ready codeExperience integrating AI-assisted development practices into daily engineering workflows and software delivery processesAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail, high productivity, and efficiencyIntermediate English, both verbal and writtenKnowledge of Armenian language is an essential requirement for this position Nice to have Experience building AI-powered applications or integrating Generative AI services and APIsFamiliarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and AI-assisted automation workflowsBasic skills in DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, cloud deployment)Experience with logistics, SaaS, or large-scale enterprise systemsFamiliarity with performance optimization and scalability strategiesPrevious experience mentoring developers or leading backend initiativesInterest in evaluating and adopting emerging AI technologies to improve engineering productivity and software quality
