Make a difference in our team Location flexible: Melbourne / Brisbane / Sydney (or regional for the right person) We are looking for a new team member to join us and contribute to the successful delivery of projects that have a positive impact on river and catchment management. The successful applicant will be a waterway engineer who is passionate about supporting best-practice and implementing nature-based solutions. You will work closely with our dynamic team to plan, design and implement exciting and challenging river restoration, urban water management and urban stream naturalisation projects. In this role, you will be part of (or be leader of) the delivery team for a range of projects across Australia undertaking: Project management / leadershipConcept and detailed designModelling applications including software such as 12d, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, TUFLOWReport writing and presentations to clientsField assessments and investigations Skills and Experience We are looking for a person with the following attributes and skills: A degree or higher in civil or environmental engineering or equivalent10-15 years experience applying engineering principles in the waterway, river and catchment space (CPEng preferred)An appreciation of how nature-based solutions can improve how our waterways and catchment are managed and how you would contribute to thisProficiency and experience in analysing the hydraulics of waterways and estuariesExperience in applying hydrologic and hydraulic modelling softwareExperience in design packages: 12d and AutoCAD (or similar)Project management skillsProven ability to develop a good rapport with clients, stakeholders, team membersA long-term perspective and ability to build knowledge, skills, relationships and profile About Us Streamology is an award-winning specialist consultancy at the forefront of water, waterway and coastal science and engineering.
