Hays is currently Senior Development Manager with Land development experience for a growing Western Australian property group to take full ownership of a diverse portfolio of residential land development projects throughout Perth.
Working within an experienced property team, you will manage projects across the complete development life cycle, from acquisition assessment and feasibility through planning, approvals, civil delivery, sales releases and title creation.
This is a delivery-focused position suited to an organised and commercially minded development professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and progressing multiple projects simultaneously.
The business is open to appointing either an experienced Development Manager or a high-potential emerging professional ready to step into broader project ownership.
Key responsibilities:
Manage project strategies, programmes, budgets, cash flows and staging plans.Coordinate planning applications, statutory approvals and the clearance of subdivision conditions.Manage engineering design, civil works, infrastructure, servicing, landscaping and title creation.Appoint and manage external consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.Prepare scopes, obtain quotations and coordinate tendering and contract administration.Develop business cases and approval papers for new expenditure, project decisions and variations.Monitor project expenditure, invoices, commitments and performance against approved budgets.Maintain project feasibilities and assess the commercial impact of project decisions and variations.Identify delivery risks and implement practical solutions to protect programme, cost, yield and project returns.Prepare monthly development reports for the CEO, senior management and Board.The role encompasses end-to-end project delivery, including consultant management, tendering, approvals, civil construction, practical completion and titles.
Requirements:
