Description

For our client, we are seeking a Front-end Engineer 5 SEO - Shopping (Remote-eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will help expand the reach of a consumer-facing shopping experience by improving search discoverability, front-end quality, and web performance. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging features at scale while shaping shared UI foundations that support multiple teams. The position also calls for strong technical leadership, including mentoring senior engineers and helping drive AI-enabled workflows across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $209,000 – $238,500 annually Responsibilities Increase the reach of the company's shopping experience through SEO, AEO, and GEO Design and build optimized front-end code that improves user experience and search ranking Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging features for a large customer base Architect and maintain core components and shared libraries for multiple teams Establish standards for cross-platform consistency and accessibility Serve as a subject matter expert in SEO and web performance Define strategies for leveraging AI tools across teams Mentor senior engineers in AI-native workflows Apply expertise in modern web technologies to solve complex problems Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field 6+ years of professional software engineering experience 6+ years of experience with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte 3+ years of experience architecting federated front-end or design systems Benefits Comprehensive health benefits Financial wellness programs Inclusive workplace culture Performance-based incentives Opportunities for professional development Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
