The Role
• Design and develop innovative AI projects to solve complex problems.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of AI applications, from evaluation and conception to development, deployment, and production operation.
• Implement standard software development practices, including version control, testing, and DevOps, while developing conversational interfaces and APIs.
• Identify and assess new AI use cases and integrate them into existing business processes.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and software developers to build and scale AI solutions.
• Evaluate and optimize existing AI models for performance, scalability, accuracy, and security.
What You'll Need
• Minimum of five years of software development experience with practical experience in generative AI, machine learning, or data-driven projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Typescript, or Go, with experience in REST APIs and databases.
• Understanding of generative AI methodologies including RAG, fine-tuning, agents, and reasoning workflows.
• Ability to architect and plan software with a focus on automation, stability, and maintainability.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS), data science, Kubernetes, or front-end development is advantageous.
• Strong technical curiosity, self-directed learning ability, and a willingness to share knowledge.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level).
