Senior Civil Engineer – Water

Wave International is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer – Water to join our growing Perth team. This is a newly created position within our Water business unit working across the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects. Working within multidisciplinary project teams, you’ll provide technical expertise, coordinate engineering activities and work closely with clients and project stakeholders to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions. Key Responsibilities Civil and water infrastructure design from feasibility studies and concept development through to detailed design and delivery.Undertake hydraulic design and analysis, including steady-state and transient analysis.Design water and civil infrastructure, including pipelines, pressure mains, sewer and reticulation systems, drainage, wells, bores and pump stations.Contribute to wastewater treatment and broader urban and mining water infrastructure projects.Prepare and review engineering calculations, study and design reports, specifications, drawings and bid-ready documentation.Develop practical engineering solutions to complex technical and project challenges.Contribute to project scopes, estimates, schedules, tenders and proposals. About You A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.7+ years’ relevant engineering experience, ideally within consulting.Strong experience in water and civil infrastructure design, particularly pipelines, pump stations, water bores, sewerage, reticulation and drainage.Demonstrated experience in hydraulic analysis and design.Experience delivering water infrastructure for mining, industrial and/or urban water systems.Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and water infrastructure requirements.WA project experience and familiarity with Water Corporation standards would be highly regarded.Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
