Senior Alfresco Engineer

Senior Alfresco Engineer – B2B Location: Remote / Europe Rate: Up to €400 per day Contract Type: Contract Candidates MUST be based in either Poland, Slovakia or Czech Republic for this role. We are looking for a Senior Alfresco Engineer to support a major enterprise platform upgrade, moving an existing Alfresco environment from version 23.x to 26.x. The platform supports enterprise records management and includes: Alfresco Content Services (ACS)Alfresco Process Services (APS)Alfresco Content Application (ACA/ADF)Alfresco Governance Services (AGS) The platform is already live in production and includes a significant customisation layer, so we are specifically looking for someone with strong hands-on experience delivering complex Alfresco upgrades within enterprise environments. Recent experience working with the Alfresco 26.x stack would be highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Support and deliver the upgrade of Alfresco from 23.x to 26.xAssess existing customisations and ensure compatibility with the upgraded platformWork across ACS, APS, ACA/ADF and AGSTroubleshoot technical issues arising during the upgrade processReview and adapt existing extensions and custom integrationsSupport testing, deployment and production readinessWork closely with engineering and architecture teams throughout the upgradeKey Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience with AlfrescoDeep expertise across ACS, APS, ACA/ADF and AGSProven experience delivering Alfresco upgrades in complex enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of Alfresco architecture, extension frameworks and customisation patternsJava and Spring development experienceExperience working with records management solutionsPhysical records management experience would be highly advantageousExperience with Alfresco 26.x would be a significant advantageStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
