Your Role: Plan and control quality deliverables and project schedules for assigned projects.Assign Software Quality Project Leaders and Software Quality Engineers to projects.Manage cost center budgets and resource planning using the RAIDA tool.Ensure all released software complies with Aptiv quality standards and customer requirements.Plan, monitor, and develop team capabilities.Lead and manage the engineering team, including:Workforce planningTask execution and prioritizationAdapting to changing project needsMY CORE managementVacation approvalsTimesheet approvalsCareer developmentCoordinate team training activities to address process, project, and product-specific needs.Promote internal and external knowledge sharing initiatives.Identify, develop, and retain top talent within the Software Quality organization.Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams in:Process ComplianceRisk ManagementLessons LearnedRelease Quality ManagementPlan team workload and professional development activities.Assign Project Competency Leads.Monitor project execution and performance metrics; implement corrective actions when required.Drive project execution and support problem resolution.Participate in customer communication and represent the company at customer sites when required.Embed a Built-In Quality mindset throughout the software development lifecycle.Define and communicate team development strategy to the Quality Director.Support team motivation, performance management, and employee engagement.Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Promote and protect the company’s reputation.Continuously develop professional competencies and qualifications.Safeguard confidential information and company assets.Assign QA Leads and manage project staffing.Ensure effective use of QA tools for risk and defect management.Review and prioritize Sampling Plans to maximize audit coverage.Conduct project reviews and provide updates to Quality leadership.Escalate critical issues to management and provide regular status reporting.Monitor ASPICE Level 2 achievement and coordinate assessment planning at least three months in advance.Use data and analytics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Track resolution of critical defects and testing issues.Ensure a minimum of 40 training hours per employee annually.Lead SUP.1 process improvement initiatives and ensure timely deployment. Your Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.Proficiency in spoken and written English.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.High level of integrity and professionalism in dealings with colleagues, customers, and partners.Structured and methodical problem-solving approach.Previous experience in the automotive industry.Willingness to travel as required.Flexibility regarding working hours.Commitment to project success and continuous improvement.Experience in Electronic Product Design, including:Systems and software developmentDFMEA/PFMEAFunctional SafetyCross-functional enterprise collaborationAbility to challenge technical analyses from engineering teams or suppliersExperience working directly with customers and presenting solutions and improvement plans.In-depth knowledge of:IATF 16949ISO 26262ASPICEAutomotive Quality SystemsStrong results-oriented mindset.
