Aristocrat is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gdańsk. What You'll Do End-to-End Test Strategy & Planning:Build, develop, and own comprehensive, risk-based test plans for complex features and system integrations.Proactively identify potential quality issues and risks in requirements and architecture, providing constructive feedback.Define the scope of testing (manual, automated, performance, security) required for projects, ensuring efficient coverage across client and server. Execution, Analysis & Defect Management:Complete complex manual and automated tests across the full stack, analyzing results and identifying root causes of defects.Manage the full defect lifecycle, ensuring high-quality reporting and timely resolution for critical integration issues:Establish and report on key quality metrics, providing clear access to product health for collaborators. Technical Excellence & Mentorship:Demonstrate expert proficiency in our testing tools and systems (e.g., Bug Tracking, Test Case Management, SQL).Make valuable contributions to building and supporting test automation frameworks for API and client-side testing alike.Act as a mentor and technical resource for QA engineers, providing mentorship on end-to-end testing, problem-solving, and career growth. Collaboration & Process Improvement:Partner effectively with developers and product managers to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and quality expectations.Champion a "quality-first" culture by promoting continuous improvement, sharing knowledge, and facilitating discussions on quality:Drive tangible improvements in the team's cross-functional testing processes and tooling. Liaise and coordinate with a dedicated project team of offshore testers while working closely with the other Lead QA. What We're Looking For Must-Have:Proven QA Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in QA, with a proven track record of testing complex, distributed systems.Testing Acumen: Expert understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and a range of testing approaches (closed system, grey box, integration):Technical Skills: Skilled in RESTful API testing, SQL/database fundamentals, and client-side testing.Strategic Pragmatism: Excellent ability to analyze complex systems, identify risks, and make pragmatic decisions. Strong problem-solving skills are essential:Communication & Influence: Proficient communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly, influence collaborators, and lead quality initiatives.Growth Mindset: A demonstrated history of continuous learning, proactively improving personal and team skills, and driving process improvements: Nice-to-Have:Experience working in the gaming industry.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)Experience with performance and load testing tools.Proficiency with monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., New Relic, Redash).
