The team is small, and this role will serve as a go-to technology partner across the company's web properties, sales funnels, infrastructure, and business technology.

About the Role
The Web Developer will take ownership of the technology supporting MidCurrent's web properties and revenue-generating platforms.
The work will span website development and maintenance, sales funnel technology, membership systems, analytics, infrastructure, and day-to-day business technology.
The role requires strong WordPress development experience, technical ownership, independent project management, and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly.
The developer will also lead the integration of AI tools into website and content workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development β Approximately 55%
β’ Maintain and develop production WordPress websites, including content updates, landing pages, custom themes, and plugins.
β’ Maintain plugins and platforms and address broken links, redirects, and other website issues.
β’ Manage tracking and analytics integrity across web properties.
β’ Support DNS, hosting, and infrastructure administration.
β’ Lead integration of AI tools into website and content workflows.
β’ Handle small website and technical improvements with fast turnaround.
Sales Funnel Technology β Approximately 35%
β’ Support the technology side of MidCurrent Travel's HubSpot-based sales funnels.
β’ Manage website integrations, forms, lead capture and routing, tracking, and landing pages supporting the sales team.
β’ Build and refine MidCurrent Plus gated content flows, paywall states, onboarding pages, and account management UX.
β’ Manage integrations connecting membership status with the email platform.
β’ Support Google Ad Manager and ad delivery technology.
β’ Help maintain the technical systems supporting Travel and membership revenue growth.

Required Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production WordPress sites.
β’ Experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development, beyond page builders.
β’ Demonstrated experience working with custom themes.
β’ Proficiency in JavaScript and PHP.
β’ Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI coding environments such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools.
β’ Working knowledge of AI project management.
β’ Experience with Git-based deployment workflows, including GitHub, staging and production environments, and safe rollbacks.

Working Arrangement

β’ Same-day response is expected for true emergencies involving site outages, payments, or ad delivery.
