Last year, we helped over 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them and over 225,000 people used us to send money overseas. About This Role The Growth Engineer builds and optimizes technology that drives customer acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue growth across the full AARRR funnel for both Consumer and Corporate. Working closely with the Growth Tech Lead, the role develops internal tools, integrates marketing technologies, implements experimentation frameworks, and automates business processes to deliver measurable business impact. We contribute to our community Roles & Responsibilities Growth Solutions Development Design, develop, and maintain applications, automations, and integrations that support growth initiatives across the customer lifecycle.Implement growth initiatives from design through deployment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Develop internal tools that improve operational efficiency for Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations. Data & Experimentation Implement analytics instrumentation and maintain reliable event tracking across web applications.Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives by building and measuring technical implementations.Develop dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable growth insights. Marketing Technology & Automation Build and maintain integrations with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and third-party platforms.Develop APIs, webhooks, and automated workflows to improve data synchronization and operational efficiency.Leverage AI technologies to automate business processes and improve team productivity. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Data teams to deliver growth initiatives aligned with business objectives.Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Contribute to a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making. Requirements Technical Expertise Strong experience developing modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.Experience building REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.Strong SQL skills and experience working with Amazon Athena, PostgreSQL.Experience developing internal tools, workflow automations, and AI-powered solutions using technologies such as OpenAI APIs, Claude cowork, Claude code and MCP integrations.Experience working with AWS, Git, Docker, and modern software development practices. Collaboration & Communication Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
