About the Role
Our consulting client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to design and implement an automated change and release management solution using ServiceNow out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities wherever possible.
The successful candidate will lead the configuration of ServiceNow Change Management, DevOps Change Velocity, and Digital Product Release (DPR) while integrating ServiceNow with GitHub and Harness to establish an automated, controlled release workflow with complete audit traceability from code commit through release closure.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and configure ServiceNow Change Management using OOTB capabilities and recommended platform practices.Design and implement DevOps Change Velocity to automate and streamline change processes within CI/CD pipelines.Configure and implement Digital Product Release (DPR) to support structured product and release management.Integrate ServiceNow with GitHub and Harness to enable automated change creation, approvals, deployment coordination, and release tracking.Establish end-to-end traceability from code commit through deployment and release closure.Ensure all changes and releases maintain appropriate audit trails, governance controls, and compliance requirements.Collaborate with DevOps, application development, release management, and business stakeholders to define and implement the target operating model.Leverage ServiceNow OOTB functionality wherever possible and minimize unnecessary customizations.Provide technical architecture guidance, solution design, and implementation leadership across the ServiceNow platform.Required Skills and Experience
Strong experience as a ServiceNow Architect or Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant.Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Change Management.Strong experience with ServiceNow DevOps and Change Velocity.Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Digital Product Release (DPR).Experience integrating ServiceNow with GitHub.Experience integrating ServiceNow with Harness or comparable CI/CD platforms.Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated release processes.Experience designing workflows that provide end-to-end audit traceability from development commit through production release closure.Strong understanding of ServiceNow OOTB capabilities, architecture, and governance.Strong integration experience using APIs, Integration Hub, or related ServiceNow integration technologies.Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or relevant CIS certifications.Experience working in enterprise environments with formal ITSM, change governance, and release management processes.Experience working with Agile, DevOps, and cross-functional delivery teams.Strong stakeholder communication and solution architecture skills.
