Senior Software Engineer Cache County, Utah 6-month Contract-to-Hire $63 to $72 per hour contract with a conversion salary of $130K to $150K annually Summary Experienced software engineer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting web applications and related systems. Works independently on complex problems while partnering with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Product development or product engineering experience is strongly preferred. 70% to 80% backend duties. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET applications and APIs.Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions.Partner with product teams on new features and product enhancements.Contribute to architecture, technical design, and development standards.Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and functions.Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.Participate throughout the software development lifecycle.Manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.Requirements6+ years of professional C#/.NET development experience.Strong experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, LINQ, and Web API.Experience with product development (SaaS, Gov Software, etc.)6+ years of SQL Server or equivalent SQL experience.Strong stored procedure and database development experience.Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, and responsive web development.Experience developing APIs using REST and/or GraphQL.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Bonus SkillsExperience working directly with product managers/product owners.Experience working in a highly regulated company such as Insurance, Healthcare or GovernmentReact, Angular, or Vue.Agile/Scrum experience.Cloud or modern application architecture experience.Mentoring or technical leadership experience.Welcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
