About The Role We are seeking a curious and creative Frontend / AI Engineer to join our innovative team remotely within the Continental United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing next-generation AI-powered product experiences. Your primary focus will be on transforming large language models (LLMs) into engaging, user-facing features. This position combines front-end development, API integration, and rapid prototyping, making it ideal for someone passionate about exploring how artificial intelligence can revolutionize modern applications. You will work closely with product managers and engineering teams to design, prototype, and implement AI-driven functionalities that enhance user engagement and streamline workflows. Your contributions will directly impact how our clients and community members interact with AI-powered tools, ensuring intuitive and delightful user experiences. Qualifications Proven experience as a full-stack or front-end engineer with a strong understanding of modern web development.Excellent skills in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, with a focus on creating custom and responsive UI components.Experience working with APIs, JSON, and asynchronous workflows to integrate external services.Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Python (FastAPI, Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or similar technologies.Hands-on experience with LLM APIs from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or equivalent in prototypes or projects.Strong curiosity about AI, machine learning, and prompt engineering, with a desire to stay current with emerging tools and capabilities.Ability to thrive in fast-moving, dynamic environments and adapt to evolving project requirements.Excellent problem-solving skills and a maker’s mindset with a passion for experimentation and innovation. Responsibilities Design and develop AI-driven product features that leverage large language models via APIs to enhance user engagement.Build and prototype user interfaces rapidly, transforming rough concepts into functional, intuitive experiences.Collaborate with backend engineers to develop APIs and data pipelines supporting AI interactions.Implement front-end experiences in React that make complex AI outputs accessible and user-friendly.Experiment with new LLM capabilities, libraries, and prompt engineering techniques to optimize performance.Contribute to internal tools for data cleaning, model evaluation, and content generation workflows.Participate in cross-functional teams to align on technical requirements and deliver innovative AI solutions.Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging AI technologies to continuously improve product offerings.
