Senior Paid Search Manager – Ecommerce Department: Paid Media / Performance Marketing Reports To: Digital Strategist Type: Full-Time About the Role The Senior Paid Search Manager will be responsible for executing, managing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across Google Ads platforms, including Search, YouTube, Performance Max, and Display. This role focuses on high-quality execution within a performance-driven environment, translating strategic direction into scalable campaigns that drive measurable results. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Google Ads for ecommerce brands, understands direct-response marketing, and is highly analytical when optimizing performance. While overall strategy is guided by the Digital Strategist, the Senior Paid Search Manager is expected to think critically, identify optimization opportunities, and contribute insights that improve account performance. Key Responsibilities Campaign Execution & Optimization Build, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, YouTube, Performance Max, and DisplayExecute campaign structures and bidding strategies aligned with performance goalsContinuously optimize campaigns to improve CPA, ROAS, conversion volume, and efficiencyMonitor daily performance and make proactive adjustmentsMaintain strong account structure and direct-response best practices Performance Monitoring & Analysis Track key performance metrics and identify trends, anomalies, and risksAnalyze data to uncover optimization opportunities and improve efficiencyMaintain organized campaign structures, naming conventions, and documentationEscalate performance issues or technical blockers when necessary Full-Funnel Awareness Understand how paid traffic interacts with landing pages, funnels, and offersCollaborate with creative, CRO, and funnel teams to align performanceProvide feedback based on user behavior and campaign dataSupport structured testing and experimentation initiatives Creative Testing & Optimization Execute creative testing strategies based on performance insightsRotate creatives, formats, and messaging to prevent fatigueProvide data-backed feedback on winning concepts and anglesEnsure all assets meet platform policies and guidelines Team Collaboration & Execution Work closely with strategists and internal teams to execute campaign roadmapsParticipate in performance reviews and optimization discussionsMaintain clear communication and task management within ClickUpTake ownership of assigned accounts and ensure consistent execution Qualifications 2–4+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaignsStrong experience working with e-commerce brandsDeep understanding of direct-response marketing and performance optimizationFamiliarity with Search, YouTube, Performance Max, and Display campaignsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyStrong attention to detail and organizationGoogle Ads certifications are a plus What Success Looks Like Consistent execution of structured, high-performing campaignsOngoing improvements in CPA, ROAS, and conversion volumeClean, scalable account structures that support growthStrong collaboration with internal teams to drive resultsReliable ownership and accountability across accounts What’s the Company Like?
