Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining full stack web and mobile applications for high-impact projects. As part of our team in Abu Dhabi, you'll work in an ONSITE environment and have significant ownership of end-to-end engineering processes, particularly in fast-paced, lean teams where every engineer contributes to DevOps, QA, and support. You will also be involved in reviewing and owning work from external partners and be integral to maintaining robust, high-quality software systems. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain robust full stack applications using Django, React, and related frameworks.Take end-to-end responsibility for the deployment, monitoring, and support of production systems.Review code delivered by external development partners, ensuring quality and taking over ongoing maintenance.Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and rollback procedures.Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud-hosted applications, especially on Azure.Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact user experiences on web and mobile.Diagnose and resolve issues across the stack—frontend, backend, database, and integrations.Contribute to mobile application development and releases using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.Champion secure coding practices and reliable integration patterns. Must have requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.7+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial hands-on full stack development.Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with practical experience in Django and React.Demonstrated ability to deliver independently within small teams, even with limited DevOps and QA support.Experience reviewing and assuming ownership of applications built by external development partners, including maintenance, deployment, and technical handover.Experience operating and troubleshooting cloud-hosted applications, preferably on Azure.Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, including automated testing, release controls, and rollback.Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorisation, secure coding, and resilient integrations, including failure handling and observability.Proven experience with React Native, including mobile debugging, build config, and shipping iOS/Android releases.Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across backend, web, and mobile.Hands-on experience with Docker for reproducible application environments.Ability to diagnose end-to-end issues using logs, monitoring tools, and systematic debugging strategies. Nice to have requirements Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).Experience with serverless architectures and container orchestration (Kubernetes or similar).Prior experience in rapid scaling environments or greenfield projects.Background with automated performance, load, or security testing.Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and practices.Demonstrated mentoring or technical leadership within engineering teams.Experience integrating third-party APIs or SaaS platforms.Good understanding of modern frontend state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
