DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join ING's Shared Technology environment and work as part of a cross-functional team delivering reliable, scalable, and secure technology solutions. You'll collaborate closely with developers, architects, stakeholders, and global engineering teams to support mission-critical platforms and continuously improve the software delivery lifecycle. You'll help drive automation, cloud adoption, monitoring, and operational excellence while ensuring systems remain stable, secure, and efficient. The role emphasizes CI/CD engineering, cloud technologies, and automation practices. About the Team You'll become part of ING Hubs Philippines, an international organization supporting business units across the global ING network. What You'll Do Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platformsAutomate software delivery processes and engineering workflowsBuild, configure, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and environmentsMonitor applications and platforms to ensure reliability, availability, and performanceManage deployments, releases, rollbacks, and change management activitiesTroubleshoot technical issues and coordinate incident resolution across teamsImplement monitoring, alerting, and operational best practicesCollaborate with engineers and stakeholders across multiple geographiesDevelop solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and platform stabilitySupport mission-critical systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills & Experience Must Have 3-5 years of relevant DevOps experienceStrong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD practicesHands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD toolsExperience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft AzureAutomation and scripting skills using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologiesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teamsExperience supporting or developing software applications in complex environments Nice to Have Azure certificationsDocker and Kubernetes experienceInfrastructure as Code experienceMonitoring and observability tools such as ELK, Prometheus, or GrafanaSystems administration and networking knowledgeExperience with distributed systems and modern cloud architectures What We Offer Opportunities to collaborate with international teams across the ING networkExposure to modern cloud and DevOps practicesA culture that encourages continuous learning and professional growthDiverse and inclusive teams where different perspectives are valuedThe opportunity to contribute to technology that supports millions of customers worldwide We proudly invest in women in STEM.
