We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to support a growing healthcare technology initiative focused on provider workflows and EHR interoperability. About the role You will work with EHR partners, product stakeholders, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver healthcare integrations. The ideal candidate combines practical EHR experience with technical fluency, strong documentation skills, and ownership of execution from discovery through launch. Key responsibilities Engage with technical and product counterparts at EHR companies to understand integration capabilities and requirements.Translate business needs and clinical workflows into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Own and prioritize the integration backlog in collaboration with product leadership and engineering.Document data requirements, API behavior, workflow dependencies, and integration constraints.Work closely with engineering and QA to clarify requirements, resolve blockers, and validate completed functionality.Coordinate partner onboarding, testing, release readiness, and implementation activities.Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.Required qualifications Experience as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, Senior Technical Business Analyst, or comparable role in healthcare technology.Direct experience delivering EHR integrations or healthcare interoperability solutions.Working knowledge of HL7 FHIR and SMART on FHIR, including application launch, authorization, and clinical data access.Ability to interpret REST API documentation and discuss authentication, data mapping, and error handling with technical teams.Understanding of US provider workflows and clinical information systems.Demonstrated ability to create actionable requirements, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria.Experience managing a product backlog and working with engineering and QA through implementation and launch.Strong communication skills and experience engaging external partners and technical stakeholders.Familiarity with privacy and security considerations for sensitive healthcare data.Preferred qualifications Prior experience at an EHR vendor, healthcare interoperability company, or healthcare product organization.Experience working directly with EHR developer programs or integration teams.Hands-on involvement in launching SMART on FHIR applications or integrations across multiple EHR platforms.Familiarity with HL7 v2, C-CDA, OAuth 2.0, and healthcare data mapping.Experience with distributed engineering teams.A background in software engineering, integration implementation, or technical solution consulting.Key skills Technical Product Ownership · EHR Integration · SMART on FHIR · HL7 FHIR · Healthcare Interoperability · REST APIs · Requirements Gathering · User Stories · Acceptance Criteria · Backlog Management · Clinical Workflows · Stakeholder Management
