Job Description A growing technology company is seeking a Software Engineer to join its team and support the development of hardware-integrated software solutions. This role will focus on test automation, backend development, and debugging software that interacts directly with physical devices and embedded systems. The ideal candidate has experience with Python, C, C++, or C#, Linux, and automated testing, along with the ability to quickly understand and extend existing codebases. Experience working with Raspberry Pi devices, IoT systems, or hardware-software integration is highly valued. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for hardware-integrated systems. Build and maintain backend functionality supporting device communication and testing workflows. Debug and troubleshoot Python, C, C++, or C# applications running in Linux environments. Interface with Raspberry Pi devices and validate hardware behavior through software applications. Identify, document, and resolve defects across software and hardware components. Contribute to system-level testing and validation efforts. Extend and enhance existing applications and codebases. Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency with Python, C, C++, or C# development. Hands-on experience working in Linux environments. Experience with automated testing and test framework development. Experience working with Raspberry Pi, IoT devices, or similar hardware platforms. Ability to read, understand, and extend existing codebases. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Experience working with software that interfaces directly with hardware. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment. Desired Skills Embedded systems development experience. C, C++, or C# programming experience. Hardware testing and validation experience. Familiarity with GPIO interfacing. Experience with system-level integration testing. Experience supporting GUI-based applications that interact with hardware.
