DevOps Engineer

Role: DevOps Engineer – Production Support Location: Toronto, ON – Onsite Job Type: Full-time We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer – Production Support with strong expertise in AWS, CI/CD, Terraform, GitHub, SRE, and production support to support highly available, business-critical payments and financial services platforms. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.Provide L2/L3 production support for critical applications.Troubleshoot production incidents, perform RCA, and implement permanent fixes.Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and availability.Support deployments, release validation, rollback, and recovery activities.Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar tools. Requirement: Strong hands-on AWS experience – EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS.Minimum 8 years of experience requiredTerraform and Infrastructure as Code.CI/CD – GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.Production Support / SRE experience.Docker and Kubernetes.Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and RCA skills.Automation with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Experience with monitoring/logging/observability tools.Experience in Payments, Banking, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
