MAKING AN IMPACT
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Solution and Platform Architecture to lead the design, evolution, and operational excellence of our enterprise Salesforce ecosystem.
This is a high-impact leadership role that blends deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, people management, and innovation in AI technology.
As part of the Salesforce Solutions and CRM Strategy team, you will oversee platform architecture, technical standards, operational excellence, release management, and cross-functional enablement.
You will lead a team of architects, developers, and platform engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Security, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Platform Architecture, AI & StrategyOwn the architectural vision and roadmap for the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom apps).Lead the implementation and integration of AI technologies to optimize platform performance, automate processes, and drive innovation.Drive platform evolution, modernization, and adoption of best practices across code, configuration, and integration strategies.Ensure platform scalability, extensibility, and long-term maintainability in a complex multi-cloud, multi-org environment.Collaborate with the Director to develop and execute the overall Salesforce strategy aligned with the company's business goals.Operational ExcellenceOversee daily platform operations including incident management, performance tuning, environment management, and release operations.Implement platform monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure high availability and proactive issue resolution.Accountable for development and support of Salesforce and related solutions supporting fundraising and volunteer management activities.Release Management & DevOpsSupport the Release Management and DevOps teams in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and automation tools.Provide architectural guidance and technical expertise to ensure high-quality, well-documented, and compliant releases.Collaborate with Release Management, QA, and DevOps teams to drive continuous improvement in release processes and operational standards.Assist in managing environment strategy (sandboxes, dev/test/prod orgs), data refresh cycles, and deployment processes.Governance, Security & ComplianceDefine and enforce platform governance covering security, development standards, access controls, and environment management.Collaborate with security, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data privacy, regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR), and audit readiness.Optimize license usage and cost-efficiency across the Salesforce ecosystem.Leadership & Stakeholder EngagementLead and mentor a high-performing team of Salesforce engineers and administrators, including Senior Developers and Business Analysts.Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on achieving excellence in Salesforce solutions.Partner with business partners to align platform capabilities with business needs.Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on Salesforce-related initiatives and platform capabilities.Engage with key business stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide updates on project status, and address any concerns.Champion CCS as a hero in the face of cancer.Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture, development, and operations across major Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing) and custom applications.
3+ years of experience leading and mentoring technical Salesforce team members (developers, architects, admins).
Advanced technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and SOQL.
Proven experience managing complex, integrated, high‑volume Salesforce environments.
Strong experience with DevOps and CI/CD (Copado, GitHub) and deployment automation.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and fixing issues in a release pipeline (must-have).
Experience integrating and leveraging AI technologies to optimize performance and automate processes.
Experience supporting release management, deployment strategies, and automation tooling.
Familiarity with environment management, including sandboxes, data refresh cycles, and multi‑org setups.
Experience defining and enforcing access controls, security standards, and platform governance.
Strong communication skills with the ability to advise senior leaders and collaborate with stakeholders.
Bilingualism (French/English) is highly preferred, with French being an asset due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions.Others may apply.

Knowledge of another language may be required depending on job responsibilities and business needs.
