Role: Fullstack Software Engineer (Python/React) Location: Madrid (Hybrid) Compensation: Up to €150,000 Base + Industry Leading Bonus A leading Trading Firm in Madrid is seeking a talented Fullstack Software Engineer to join its growing technology team. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment where technology is central to the firm's success across multiple asset classes. The Role Building modern, scalable full-stack applications using Python, React and TypeScript to support business-critical trading and operational platforms.Designing and developing robust backend services (Python), APIs and microservices that power high-performance internal applications.Building real-time trading dashboards, analytics platforms and data visualisation tools used by traders, quantitative researchers and engineering teams.Taking ownership of features from concept through to deployment, working in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applicationsBuild robust backend services (Python) and modern frontend interfaces using React/TypeScriptDevelop and integrate APIs, services and data-driven applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, quants and other technology teamsTake ownership of projects and features throughout the full software development lifecycle Requirements 4+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong full-stack development experience with Python and React/TypeScriptExperience building and maintaining production-grade applicationsExperience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQLExperience within FinTech, trading, financial services or another high-performance technology environment is advantageousBachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or similar) is preferred If the above is of interest, please apply or email me directly at agreen@hunterbond.com
