Description

About LVIS LVIS Corporation is on a mission to revolutionize the entire continuum of neurological care by enabling AI driven digital analytics to help physicians accelerate patient throughput by transforming signal analysis and visualization. The LVIS software, NeuroMatch®, utilizes brainwave signals from traditional EEG systems to enable AI driven algorithms to perform EEG source localization, spike and seizure event detection. We have an international team with our headquarters located in Palo Alto, California, USA and we have an office in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. We are looking for talented individuals to join us in transforming the neurology health care industry. About The Role NeuroMatch renders large volumes of EEG and neurological data through interactive 2D and 3D visualizations in the browser. This includes a custom, low level WebGL2 rendering engine for real time signal and waveform visualization, with GPU accelerated signal processing (GPGPU), plus a Three.js based 3D brain visualization layer, both built on top of our Vue frontend. We're looking for a senior WebGL / graphics engineer to take ownership of this visualization technology: extending the custom rendering engine, maintaining the 3D brain visualization layer, and solving the GPU performance and large dataset problems that come with continuously streamed clinical data. You'll work closely with frontend engineers, neuroscientists, and clinical specialists to translate scientific algorithms and reference implementations into fast, precise, production visualization software. Responsibilities Own and extend our custom WebGL2 rendering engine used for real time EEG waveform and signal visualizationMaintain and build out our Three.js based 3D brain visualization components (source localization, spike and seizure networks, and related views)Design and implement GPU accelerated (GPGPU) signal processing techniques for in browser filtering and data preparationOptimize GPU and CPU performance, memory use, and rendering throughput for large, continuously streamed datasetsWrite and optimize GLSL shaders for custom rendering and data processing pipelinesIntegrate visualization components into our Vue based frontend applicationCollaborate with neuroscientists and clinical specialists to implement algorithms and reference implementations as production softwareProfile and resolve rendering performance issues, memory issues, visual artifacts, and browser/GPU compatibility problemsContribute to frontend architecture, code quality, and technical design reviews Requirements Basic Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience, with substantial hands on WebGL 2.0 / GLSL development (not just framework usage)Strong JavaScript (ES6) / TypeScript skillsDirect experience writing and debugging GLSL shaders, and working with GPU buffers, textures, and render pipelinesExperience building and maintaining complex, interactive, browser based applications handling large or streaming datasetsBS or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with Three.js and Vue.jsHands on experience with digital signal processing, such as digital filter design or noise reductionFamiliarity with GPGPU techniques using WebGL, and with floating point standards such as IEEE 754Familiarity with OpenGL, Vulkan, Direct3D, Metal, SPIR-V, HLSL, OpenCL, or CUDAExperience with WebAssembly, Web Workers, SharedArrayBuffer, or SIMD based browser performance techniquesExperience with large scale data visualization (medical, scientific, geospatial, or financial)Experience with Emscripten or C/C++ to WebAssembly workflowsExperience with automated testing, CI/CD, and git based code review practicesExperience with EEG, neuroscience, or medical software is helpful but not required; our science and clinical teams provide the domain knowledge needed
