Senior SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Developer

Job Title: Senior SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Developer Duration: 12+ Months Interview: Initial interview via Microsoft Teams; second-round interview will be in person. The selected candidate will be expected to work on-site 4 days per week for the first few months.After successfully transitioning into the role and consistently meeting performance expectations, the candidate may be eligible to work remotely up to 2 days per week. Roles & Responsibilities: Design, develop, deploy, and maintain customized SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions throughout the full application development lifecycle.Architect and develop scalable enterprise solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, Power Apps, and Power Automate.Configure and administer SharePoint Online services, including Search, Managed Metadata, User Profiles, workflows, and related Microsoft 365 capabilities.Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, web parts, workflows, interfaces, and integrations with enterprise applications.Build integrations using Microsoft Graph APIs, REST APIs, web services, and other standard integration technologies.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.Define information architecture, site structures, content frameworks, and user-centric SharePoint solutions.Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing SharePoint environments.Independently manage SharePoint maintenance, upgrades, deployments, and production support activities.Develop responsive web solutions using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Node.js, and NPM.Develop technical documentation, deployment artifacts, user guides, and training materials.Establish and promote SharePoint governance, architecture standards, security, SDLC, and change-management best practices.Evaluate business and technology requirements and recommend scalable and sustainable Microsoft 365 solutions.Support integration of third-party enterprise applications and cloud services with SharePoint and Power Platform.Implement and integrate Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, OpenAI, or other AI/ML capabilities where applicable.Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders. Qualifications: 7–9 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions.Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, Power Apps, and Power Automate.Strong experience with Microsoft Graph APIs.Hands-on web development experience using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Node.js, and NPM.Experience with Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, Workflow Manager, InfoPath, Sharegate, Metalogix, and SharePoint reporting tools.Experience integrating SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications using REST APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming; experience with .NET/C# is preferred.Experience with SharePoint administration, including Search, Managed Metadata, User Profiles, workflows, security, and governance.Experience implementing and integrating Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, or other Microsoft AI capabilities is preferred.Experience integrating Azure AI Services, OpenAI, third-party AI/ML platforms, cloud services, and enterprise applications is preferred.Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, SDLC, architecture, and change-management best practices.Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint and Microsoft 365 issues.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and documentation skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
