We’re hiring a Sr. Staff DevOps & Cloud Engineer to join Gerber Life and help lead the continued evolution of our enterprise DevOps and Cloud Engineering capabilities. This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role for someone who can set technical direction while remaining actively involved in architecture, automation, CI/CD, cloud modernization, containerization, and engineering delivery. Minimum experience we’re looking for: • 15+ years of relevant DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience, including significant experience serving as a technical lead for a comparable DevOps/Cloud engineering team • 7+ years leading DevOps and Cloud engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment, including experience with JIRA • Strong hands-on Jenkins experience, including pipeline architecture, shared libraries, integrations, and deployment automation • Hands-on experience with SonarQube for static code analysis, quality gates, security issue identification and remediation workflows, and developer feedback • Experience with container vulnerability scanning and image security, ideally using tools such as Prisma Cloud or equivalent • Experience securing the software supply chain, including artifact/dependency management with Nexus Repository and preferably Sonatype Repository Firewall or similar technology • Demonstrated experience embedding SAST, SCA, container scanning, dependency governance, and security gates into CI/CD pipelines • Strong experience with cloud architecture, Azure, containerized workloads, and modernization of on-premise application delivery Core technologies: Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Nexus Repository, SonarQube, Docker, Prisma Cloud or comparable security tooling, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Sonatype Repository Firewall, Maven/npm/NuGet. Additional experience valued: Java, Angular, Kubernetes, WebSphere/Liberty, Jetty, NGINX, Elasticsearch/Kibana/Logstash, serverless technologies, and other application security/code-scanning platforms.e role will provide technical leadership for a small team of DevOps and Cloud Engineers while helping establish standards and strategies across source control, branching, artifact management, code scanning, application security, software supply-chain security, automated testing, deployments, containers, orchestration, and cloud adoption. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable operating at both levels — setting enterprise technical direction and getting hands-on when needed.
