About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join Sage’s dynamic engineering team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and automation tools that streamline our software delivery processes. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring the deployment of secure, scalable, and resilient financial solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, leveraging the latest DevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Telecommuting is permitted up to 100%, providing flexibility to balance work and personal commitments. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Senior DevOps Engineer role or similar capacity is required. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in scripting and coding to automate deployment pipelines, perform troubleshooting on Linux and Windows operating systems, and develop infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, along with familiarity with DevOps tools including Kubernetes, Docker, Helm Charts, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Zabbix, New Relic, and Argo CD, is essential. Strong understanding of security practices, ITIL framework, and Agile methodologies will be highly valued. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration, deployment, and delivery processes.Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to understand build, release, branching, and versioning requirements for code and database migrations.Implement and support test automation, build automation, and environment/infrastructure automation across cloud and on-premises environments.Develop scripts and tools to automate routine tasks, optimize workflows, and improve system reliability and security.Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible, ensuring scalable and secure environments.Support cloud-native projects utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, Helm Charts, and cloud services such as AWS and Azure.Maintain and enhance security protocols throughout the development lifecycle, including security testing and threat modeling.Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes following ITIL best practices.Contribute to the development of resilient, high-volume, multi-channel solutions that meet customer needs and organizational standards.Engage in Agile development practices, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements.
